Welcome to ZU – Zadro University

A communications training program to equip people with the practical skills needed to survive in the wild terrains of the business world.

ZU is mix of theoretical and practical training that doesn’t take three years, or cost the earth. We wanted to fill the gap in the integrated training market, and upskill people quickly in an engaging relevant way.

ZU is distilled from the minds of professionals who traverse the marketing wilderness daily, and know the landscape like the back of their hand.

Created for smart people who want a relevant, practical approach to strategic integrated communications, ZU is ideal for marketing and communications people of all levels; business owners, start-ups, internal marketing teams, or those who buy marketing services.

Four highly detailed one-day engaging programs we call Safaris, has a focus on integrated communications and cover Marketing and Communications; Public Relations; Digital, Social and Design and Strategic Communications.

With each ZU Safari, participants will gain:

  1. An understanding of the role and power of communications in business
  2. What marketers and communications professionals need to know today
  3. How to use the principals of integrated communications for impact
  4. Simple, proven techniques, ready to take back to their business
  5. Practical experience and skills

Each ZU Safari will include preparation notes, theory, facilitated training, case studies, lots of engagement, practical exercises, a workbook and fun. Participants will be provided with a certificate of attendance.

Friends of the ZU

Small groups of graduates have the opportunity to form the ZU alumni to help grow and develop our participant’s professional networks. The community can provide ongoing support, inspiration and valuable contacts.

Who’s who in the ZU?

As an integrated communications agency, we do things a little differently. All the team are multiskilled and work across marketing and communications (including PR and social). Whilst our universities are slowing turning the tide and teaching one or two integrated communications subjects, they are still producing only marketing OR communications graduates – however, at Zadro we have well and truly moved on.

What we do is take a marketing professional and teach them PR, and a communications manager and teach them marketing. It might be the hard way of doing business, but it means our customers can have the full spectrum of what they need – in one place. Which is the crux of our existence.

With our profession moving at lightning speed, there is much to know, to learn and to do. That is why, inspired by the extensive training Zadro employees go through, we have decided to open our doors and share what we know with others.

In a recent client survey, Zadro achieved a Net Promoter Score of 91!
