NAB National Small Business Summit by COSBOA 24-25 July 2013

Objectives:
  • Increase awareness of the annual two-day National Small Business Summit
  • Secure media coverage in the lead up, during and directly following the National Small Business Summit
  • Place small business issues on the media/public agenda in the lead up to the 2013 Federal Election
Strategy:
  • Manage a six-month PR campaign across traditional media (broadcast, print and online) to promote and report on the Summit
  • Develop and execute a full social media content plan (Twitter and Facebook) including monitoring and responding to all enquiries
  • Provide onsite event support for the duration of the Summit to manage media enquiries and interviews and report LIVE via COSBOA social media
Results:
  • Placed small business issues at the forefront of the election campaign
  • A total of 104 pieces of media coverage secured
  • Secured attendance from 9 national media – TV and print
  • Advertising value derived – $286,483.00
  • PR value derived – $859,449.00
