  • Generate awareness of the hotel and increase bookings
  • To engage the local area community of Macquarie Park
  • To set up a strong campaign that could be maintained by internal hotel staff after launch
Strategy:
  • An integrated communications campaign with key messages was developed to launch and promote the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park hotel
  • A complete social media strategy was implemented, generating an engaging content strategy and channel management
  • A creative campaign using a suite of clever, shareable images and the “Stay Smart” tagline was developed, designed and implemented across social media
  • A launch day activation to generate engagement, interest and bookings was managed, including media buying and design and production of a promotional flyer for the event
Results:
  • New followers (likes) increased steadily on social media platforms with the help of well researched, written and presented content in combination with the creative suite of “Stay Smart”
    images and launch event/competition
  • The winner of the launch competition generated significant PR results via the number 1 ranking national radio station
  • Zadro equipped the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park team with content planning tools to manage the existing social media sites
